FeedbackFriend provides a feedback widget that website owners embed on their sites to collect visitor feedback, plus a dashboard to manage it.
Information we collect
- Account information — when you create a FeedbackFriend account we store your email address.
- Feedback submitted through the widget — the message text, and, only if the visitor chooses to provide them, their name and email address.
- Technical context attached to each submission — the page URL, referrer, browser and operating system (derived from the user agent), screen size, timezone, language, and IP address; this helps site owners understand and reproduce feedback.
How we use information
To deliver feedback to the relevant site owner, to operate and secure the service, and to send notification emails.
Sharing
Feedback submitted through the widget is shared with the owner of the site it was submitted on. We do not sell personal information. We use Supabase as our database and hosting provider and an email service to deliver notifications.
Retention
Feedback and account data are retained until deleted by the site owner or account holder.
Your choices
Visitors may submit feedback without providing a name or email. Contact us to request access to or deletion of your data.
